A 20-year-old woman was allegedly repeatedly raped by her classmate and his accomplice who kept her in their confinement for about three weeks, police said.
According to the victim, who is a college student and resident of Maseet village in Rewari district of Haryana, she was taken to Jhajjar in the third week of May and then to Delhi by her classmate Vikas Yadav who promised her that they would get married.
At both the places she was repeatedly raped by Vikas and his associate Navin for about three weeks in a row, the police said, adding that she was later abandoned by the duo in Delhi and managed to reached her native village.
The victim's family members yesterday filed a complaint against Vikas, Navin and Vikas' parents, based on which a case under relevant sections of IPC was registered against them, the police said.
A medical examination of the woman has confirmed sexual assault, they added.
